Makeathon Program for ITI Students

The second Makeathon on advanced metal fabrication skills for ITI students was held from 15th to 19th December 2025 at Shri Vighnahar Trust’s Late Nivruttisheth Sherkar Private ITI, Nivruttinagar (Junnar).

A total of 22 students from the Welder and Fitter trades participated in the program. The students followed a design thinking approach and successfully developed three safety doors for the guest hostel, a rotating kitchen table, and a foldable poultry cage.

During the program, students gained hands-on experience in various skills, including different types of welding, powder coating, CNC lathe operations, and cutting. 🔨

DBRT (Diploma in Basic Rural Technology) मधील अभियांत्रिकी विभागाच्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी IBT च्या दोन शाळांचा संपूर्ण सेटअप तयार करून दिला. तसेच गेस्ट हॉस्टेलसाठी आवश्यक असलेल्या 20 नवीन कॉट्स तयार करण्यात आल्या. या सर्व कामांद्वारे विद्यार्थ्यांनी एकूण ₹1,26,045/- किमतीची लोकोपयोगी सेवा दिली.

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 : Research Fellow
𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 :
This is a full-time on-site Fellowship role at Vigyan Ashram in Pune.
The Fellow will be responsible for working on various projects related to technology development like Solar dome dryer, Sanitary pad incinerator, Sprouter, Polyhouse automation etc . Day-to-day tasks will include conducting research, developing and implementing project plans, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 :
Knowledge of basic engineering concepts in respective fields required.
Project planning and implementation.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners Eager to work in appropriate technology development.
