Our Biogas team visited biogas users in Tumsar and Lakhani in Bhandara district, as well as in Mouda, Parseoni, and Ramtek in Nagpur district. During the visits, training was provided on how to properly maintain biogas systems. Additionally, guidance was given to users on the effective use of biogas slurry in agricultural fields and kitchen gardens.

Our team visited various villages in Hingoli district and carried out different field activities under the project initiative. At Malhivra village, a community meeting was conducted where information about the project, water conservation, and the importance of tree plantation was shared with villagers.

At Khandala village, a site inspection for fish farming was conducted, discussions were held with the farmer, and the land of Mr. Kisan Jagtap was measured for the proposed fish farming activity.

At Bhirda village, a corner meeting was organized to create awareness about the initiative, through which potential beneficiaries were identified for 2 Recharge Shafts, 1 Multilayer Farming unit, and 2 Shetiwadi activities. At Pimpalkhed village, beneficiary Mr. Kishan Nagorao Deshmukh submitted the application form for the Recharge Shaft initiative and deposited the community contribution amount.

From 04 May 2026 to 08 May 2026, Yuva Rural Association, in collaboration with Mentoria Foundation, Mumbai, successfully conducted a Career Counseling Program for girls across five villages in Hingoli taluka — Bhadegaon, Kothalaj, Khandala, Parda, and Pimparkhed. The initiative aimed to guide rural girls regarding higher education, career opportunities, skill development, personality growth, and future planning. A total of 93 girls participated in the program, including 15 from Bhadegaon, 16 from Kothalaj, 29 from Khandala, 17 from Parda, and 16 from Pimparkhed.

During the sessions, students were provided detailed guidance on career choices, educational opportunities, confidence building, and professional skills required for future success. Parents also actively participated and expressed their support for the education and career development of their daughters. Representatives from Mentoria Foundation, including Mr. Neeraj and two career counselors, interacted with the participants and addressed their career-related queries.

The entire program was coordinated by Project Coordinator Mr. Arjun Kendre, while field-level implementation was supported by the YRA team members — Mr. Pravin Nandankar, Swati Dipke, Siddharth Khandare, Kailas Ingole, Megha Shegukar, Kamina Chavan, and Asha Thakur. The initiative proved to be highly impactful in creating awareness among rural girls about education and career opportunities, motivating them towards a brighter and self-reliant future.

Our team conducted activities in Latur district, including a women and parents meeting at Gharola village where information was shared about the 73rd Constitutional Amendment, government schemes, and the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.

Similar awareness meetings were held in Yellori Vidi village. Government scheme camps were organized in Yellori Wadi and Roj Taka villages, providing services like Ayushman cards, free and concessional tickets, and ABHA cards. A meeting for adolescent girls was also conducted, highlighting the importance of education, scholarships, and government schemes

Our biogas team visited biogas users in Lakhani and Tumsar (Bhandara district), as well as Mouda, Parseoni, and Ramtek (Nagpur district). During these visits, guidance was provided on proper biogas system maintenance, organic fertilizer management, and effective care of kitchen gardens.

It was also observed that farmers in Mouda, Parseoni, and nearby areas are actively utilizing biogas slurry as organic manure in their agricultural fields, contributing to improved soil health and sustainable farming practices.
