From 04 May 2026 to 08 May 2026, Yuva Rural Association, in collaboration with Mentoria Foundation, Mumbai, successfully conducted a Career Counseling Program for girls across five villages in Hingoli taluka — Bhadegaon, Kothalaj, Khandala, Parda, and Pimparkhed. The initiative aimed to guide rural girls regarding higher education, career opportunities, skill development, personality growth, and future planning. A total of 93 girls participated in the program, including 15 from Bhadegaon, 16 from Kothalaj, 29 from Khandala, 17 from Parda, and 16 from Pimparkhed.
During the sessions, students were provided detailed guidance on career choices, educational opportunities, confidence building, and professional skills required for future success. Parents also actively participated and expressed their support for the education and career development of their daughters. Representatives from Mentoria Foundation, including Mr. Neeraj and two career counselors, interacted with the participants and addressed their career-related queries.
The entire program was coordinated by Project Coordinator Mr. Arjun Kendre, while field-level implementation was supported by the YRA team members — Mr. Pravin Nandankar, Swati Dipke, Siddharth Khandare, Kailas Ingole, Megha Shegukar, Kamina Chavan, and Asha Thakur. The initiative proved to be highly impactful in creating awareness among rural girls about education and career opportunities, motivating them towards a brighter and self-reliant future.
