Mr. Ajay Paralkar, Program Head at the YRA Head Office in Nagpur, conducted an official field visit to project activities across villages in Hingoli district on September 15 and 16. During the visit, Mr. Paralkar inspected ongoing field operations and interacted directly with program beneficiaries to gather first-hand feedback on the initiatives.

Key site visits included an inspection of multilayer farming practices and discussion with beneficiary farmers in Basamba village, as well as an assessment of fish farming activities in Sayala village.

Additionally, Mr. Paralkar convened a comprehensive staff meeting to review progress, discuss operational details, and plan future project strategies with the team.

Yuva Rural Association (YRA), in collaboration with Mentoria Foundation, Mumbai, successfully conducted Career Guidance Programs for girl students in Tumsar Taluka, Bhandara District, Maharashtra. On 8 September 2026, the Career Guidance Program was conducted at Maharashtra High School and Junior College in Sihora village, where 182 girl students participated.

On 9 September 2026, the program was conducted at Mahatma Gandhi High School, in Chicholi village, where 36 girl students participated. A total of 218 girl students benefited from the Career Guidance Programs, which aimed to create awareness among students about various career opportunities, educational pathways, and informed career choices for their future.

🌱 BRLF – HIMWP-MH | CSO Partner: YRA 🌱

On 7–8 September 2026, farmer field schools and women’s meetings were conducted in Tekla, Jijgaon, Gurnur, Madveli, and Sipanpalli villages of Bhamragad Block. The sessions focused on major pests and diseases affecting paddy, their identification, symptoms, and natural and biological management practices. Farmers were also sensitized on the importance of PG groups and collective farming activities. Information was provided on the use of biological inputs such as Trichoderma, Beauveria, Metarhizium, Azadirachtin, Mycorrhiza, Azospirillum, and Pusa Decomposer, and relevant inputs were distributed to farmers. A PG group was also formed at Sipanpalli. The sessions were facilitated by the YRA team, CRPs, Producer Company representatives, and UMED Agriculture staff.

As a part of the Nanaji Deshmukh project, Yuva Rural Association being the member of RRAN is going to facilitate in the PoCRA project by modifying the village development plans through strengthening of the Climate resident agriculture committees and participatory planning processes. The objective is to increase public investment in the villages of Hingoli through YRA intervention.

🌍 Standing Together Against Child Marriage | YRA Latur

On the occasion of Teacher’sDay, and in the context of the United Nations’s decision to observe 27 November as the International Day for the Elimination of Child, Early and Forced Marriage, Yuva Rural Association (YRA), Latur organized awareness and gratitude programmes at Late Janardanrao Rajemane Ashram School, Janwal and Zilla Parishad School, Belkund, Latur.

🤝 YRA felicitated teachers, Anganwadi Workers, ASHA Workers, Sarpanch, School Management Committee members, CWPC members, Women & Child Development Department officials, and Child Helpline representatives for their valuable grassroots contributions towards preventing child marriage.

📢 Yuva Rural Association Project Coordinator Saddam Shaikh spoke about the significance of 27 November and the role of communities in preventing child marriage. Child Helpline representative Mr. Bapu Suryawanshi sensitized students about ChildHelpline1098 and how children in distress can seek support.

🙏 Special gratitude was expressed to Bhuwan Ribhu, Founder of Just Rights for Children (JRC), for his tireless efforts to bring the issue of child marriage to the global platform and strengthen the movement towards a child-marriage-free world.

👧👦 With the participation of around 975 students, the programme reinforced the message that ending child marriage requires collective action and commitment from every section of society.

On 02/09/2026, a Women’s Agriculture School and Farmers’ Meeting was conducted at Ranipodur village, Bhamragad, under POCRA. Farmers were informed about the scheme, eligibility, benefits, PG Groups, and SHGs.

They were encouraged to avail maximum benefits, and POCRA application forms were also filled. The programme was attended by local women and farmers, YRA CC Mr. Raju Kursami, and Agriculture Department Group Assistant Mr. Manish Vaidya.
