Day 1 of the 18th National Network of Buddhist Youth Convention ignited minds and hearts across India! ✨

Inspired by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s timeless message—“Cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence”—the day unfolded with powerful energy, unity, and purpose.

The convention began on a deeply spiritual note with Trisharana–Panchashila, Vidhayaka Panchashila, and Buddha Pooja, grounding the youth in Dhamma and collective resolve. In the esteemed presence of our honourable guests, the atmosphere was charged with inspiration and commitment to social transformation.

The Convention Preamble, delivered by Jaideep Bagade Jaideep Bagde , set a strong foundation, reminding us that learning, inner transformation, and service to society are at the core of the NNBY mission.
Ms. Savita Bedarkar enlightened the gathering on the legacy of great social reformers and the historical and social relevance of Manusmriti Dahan Din.

Adding a global Ambedkarite perspective, Mr. Sandeep Mohite (Oman – AIM) shared how Ambedkar International Mission supports NNBY libraries across seven states and powerfully reiterated Babasaheb’s guiding call:
Educate • Agitate • Organise, along with the transformative mantra RISE – Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence.

A deeply moving moment came when activist Amol presented a song against Manuwad, leading into the symbolic Manusmriti Dahan—burning not just notes, but our inner Manu: prejudice, negativity, discrimination, and limiting habits 🔥.

The day concluded peacefully with Dhammapalan Gatha, setting the tone for deeper learning in the sessions ahead.

Youth energy + Dhamma + Ambedkarite vision = Real transformation in action! 💙

मन की जागृति से शुरू हुआ एक नया सवेरा,
बाबासाहेब के विचारों ने दिखाया उजियारा।
त्रिशरण–पंचशील की ध्वनि में गूंजा संकल्प,
भारत भर के युवाओं का एक स्वर, एक विकल्प।

ज्ञान की लौ जली, अन्याय की राख उड़ी,
मनुवाद की जंजीरें मन से आज टूटीं।
“शिक्षित बनो, संगठित रहो, संघर्ष करो,”
धम्म के पथ पर युवा बोले—अब बदलाव होगा जरूर।

नीले आकाश के नीचे जागा चेतन मन,
धम्म और आंबेडकरी सोच से सशक्त हुआ जन।
युवा ऊर्जा, करुणा, और क्रांति की पहचान—
यही है परिवर्तन, यही है नया निर्माण। 💙

12 मई 2025 को बुद्ध पुर्णिमा के पावन अवसर पर लाखों बौद्ध उपासक महाबोधि विहार बोधगया पहुंच रहे है। इस साल बुद्ध पुर्णिमा अपने शहर या बस्ती में न मनाते हुए ये सभी लोग बोधगया जाकर महाबोधि विहार मुक्ति आंदोलन में शामिल होंगे आंदोलन को समर्थन देंगे उसको मजबूती देंगे। और महाबोधि विहार में बुद्ध पुर्णिमा उत्सव सबके साथ मिलकर मनाएंगे। इस अच्छे काम के लिए सहायता एक हाथ आगे बढ़ाने के लिए एन एन बी वाय ( NNBY ) टीम की ओर से उपासकों को पूरी यात्रा में जरूरत पड़ने वाली पानी की बोतलों के 100 पैकेजेस भेजे गए।
इसके लिए सभी टीम साथियों का बहुत बहुत साधुवाद। और इस अच्छे काम हम शामिल हो पाए इस बात की खुशी है।
