“HRAWI Webinar | Inspection Readiness – FSSAI Special Drive”

HRAWI successfully hosted an insightful webinar on “Inspection Readiness – FSSAI Special Drive” on 13 August 2026, providing hospitality industry leaders with practical guidance on preparing for the upcoming FSSAI Special Inspection Drive.

The webinar received an overwhelming response, with Over 600 registrations from member organisations.

We were pleased to have Dr. V. Pasupathy, Food Safety Expert, FoSTaC Diamond Trainer and Founder & CEO, Parikshan FSS Pvt. Ltd., as the speaker. He shared valuable insights on food safety compliance, inspection preparedness and key areas that hospitality establishments should focus on.

The session witnessed participation from Owners, Directors, General Managers and Corporate Heads from across the hospitality industry.

HRAWI remains committed to supporting its members through timely knowledge-sharing initiatives and helping the industry stay informed, prepared and compliant.

📢 “HRAWI Meets Principal, IHM Mumbai”

The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Pramod Naick, Principal, Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Mumbai, to congratulate him on his appointment as Principal.

Mr. Jimmy P. Shaw, President, HRAWI, and Ms. Trupti Pawar, Secretary General, HRAWI, met Mr. Naick and conveyed their warm wishes on his new responsibility.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss areas of mutual interest and explore opportunities for greater collaboration between HRAWI and IHM Mumbai, particularly in strengthening hospitality education, industry–institution engagement and developing future hospitality professionals.

The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) (HRAWI) is proud to announce a significant milestone in its journey towards strengthening food safety across the hospitality industry.

“Over 4,000 hospitality professionals across our member establishments in the Western Region states have been successfully trained and certified” through HRAWI's FSSAI Food Safety Training & Certification (FoSTaC) Programme, reinforcing our commitment to promoting food safety, hygiene, regulatory compliance and consumer confidence.

This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support of Parikshan FSS Pvt. Ltd., our Official FoSTaC Training Partner, whose dedication and expertise have been instrumental in delivering high-quality training programmes across the hospitality sector.

“Successful FSSAI FoSTaC Food Safety Supervisor – Advanced Catering Training Session”

We are pleased to share the successful completion of the FSSAI FoSTaC Food Safety Supervisor – Advanced Catering Training Session, conducted on 05th August 2026 at “Hotel Residency, Mumbai”.

The training program was attended by 47 participants.

Trainer for the aforesaid training program was Dr. V. Pasupathy.

"Till date HRAWI has successfully trained & certified 4018 hospitality professionals across India’s Western region in FoSTaC and FSSAI's Management Training Program."

“Successful FSSAI FoSTaC Food Safety Supervisor – Advanced Catering Training Session”

We are pleased to share the successful completion of the FSSAI FoSTaC Food Safety Supervisor – Advanced Catering Training Session, conducted on 04th August, 2026 at Hotel Le Grande, Andheri.

The training program was attended by 50 participants.

Trainer for the aforesaid training program was Dr. V. Pasupathy.

Till date HRAWI has successfully trained & certified 3971 hospitality professionals across India’s Western region in FoSTaC and FSSAI's Management Training Program.

Heartiest congratulations to Mr. Sumit Suri, President, Indore Hoteliers Association, Indore and HRAWI Area Nominee – Indore, on being felicitated during "Nashe Se Doori Hai Zaroori 2.0", a remarkable initiative organised by the Indore Police Commissionerate under the leadership of Hon'ble Police Commissioner Shri Santosh Singh Ji.
