Inclusion grows when we create spaces to connect, participate and learn from one another. ๐Ÿค

Lighthouse Project mentees visited Yash Charitable Trust, where they took part in a cupcake-making activity with neurodivergent adults - an experience that went beyond learning a new skill. ๐Ÿง

The interaction created an opportunity for meaningful connections, active participation and learning from one another.

In this reel, Shruti Shetty from Yash Charitable Trust shares her reflections on the experience and the importance of creating spaces where everyone can participate, contribute and connect. ๐Ÿ’›

At the Lighthouse Project, we believe experiences like these help youth develop a deeper understanding of empathy, inclusion and community. ๐ŸŒฑ

Freedom is not only something we celebrate - it's something we continue to shape every day.

This Independence Day, we asked two generations to share their perspectives: mentors reflected on the values they hope young people carry forward, while mentees shared the India they dream of building.

Their voices remind us that the future is not created overnight. It's built through everyday choices, showing kindness, taking responsibility, staying curious, and believing that even small actions can make a difference.

Happy Independence Day from all of us at the Lighthouse Project.

What does it truly mean to build a nation?

It is not only about policies, infrastructure, or institutions. It begins with people - especially the young minds who will shape tomorrow.

In this edition of our Independence Day Mentor Series, Dr. Ashwini Sawant, an employee of Cipla reflects on how mentoring creates a ripple effect that extends far beyond one individual. By sharing time, experiences and encouragement, mentors help nurture confident, compassionate, and responsible citizens who can contribute meaningfully to society.

This Independence Day, let's celebrate the people who choose to invest in others - because every act of mentorship is an investment in India's future. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

Every drop counts. ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

As we celebrate the spirit of Independence Day this month, let's remember that building a stronger India begins with the choices we make every day.

Rita Kaji, mentor at our Worli Centre, shares why water conservation is a responsibility we all must embrace. Small actions - using water mindfully, preventing wastage and encouraging others to do the same - can create a lasting impact on our communities and our future.

This Independence Day, let's pledge to protect one of our most precious resources.

What is one step you'll take to conserve water?
