Abha Devram Sonavane has spent years painting the spaces where stories come alive.

As a Head Painter, he helps shape the look and feel of film sets, bringing colour, texture and character to every space. It is work that happens away from the spotlight, built on years of hard work, dedication and skill.

The Saathi Card is a small way for the Yash Chopra Foundation to support Abha and his family, and stand by the people who make up the filmmaking community. ✨

Empowering Dreams, Carrying Forward a Legacy ❤️

The Yash Chopra Foundation continues its commitment to supporting the families of our Saathis, who are an integral part of the Hindi film industry.

Meet the 11 scholars of the YCF Scholarship Program 2026–27, selected from over 300 applicants through a merit- and need-based process.

And this year marks a special milestone- Robotics & AI joins the YCF Scholarship journey for the first time, alongside fields ranging from journalism and finance to engineering and IT.

For over 50 years, the love, hard work and contribution of countless people have helped build the world of Hindi cinema. Today, we’re proud to honour that contribution by supporting their children as they chase their own dreams, shape their own journeys and build a future filled with possibilities. ✨
