Today, the classroom turned into a content studio. 🎬

We spent the day understanding what makes stories stick, how great creators capture attention and why every powerful piece of content starts with a simple idea.

From storytelling sessions to exploring video editing tools and finally taking on the Reel Creation Challenge, students stepped into the shoes of creators: planning, shooting, editing and bringing their ideas to life.

Safe to say, there were plenty of creative debates, camera shyness (that disappeared quickly) and some surprisingly good content.

Turns out the next generation isn’t just consuming content. They’re learning how to create it.

Turns out students can talk business models too. 👀

As part of the Youth Led Bootcamp, our Program Manager, Ms. Shagun Madaan and Program Analyst,Ms. Muskan, spent time with students at Dass and Brown Experimental Learning School, breaking down the Business Model Canvas and showing how ideas turn into actual businesses.

The fun part? Watching students connect the dots, challenge assumptions and come up with their own takes on how businesses work.

Safe to say, there were more entrepreneurs in the room than we expected.

Two days. A lot of numbers. Even more clarity.

Contact Session 2 of the IMPunjab Accelerator Cohort 3 was all about understanding the financial side of building and scaling a startup. From workshops on financial statements, unit economics, MIS, financial modelling and cash flow to one-on-one diagnostic panels with finance experts, founders spent two days getting closer to the numbers that drive their businesses.

And in between the spreadsheets and strategy discussions, there was time to connect, unwind and learn from each other over games, conversations and dinner.

Because building a startup isn’t just about growing fast, it’s about building on a strong foundation.

Here’s a look back at Contact Session 2.

What happens when you put a room full of curious students, a bunch of startup games, some big questions about the future and absolutely no fear of dreaming big together?

Day 1 happened. 🚀

Today, we officially kicked off the IMPunjab School Internship Program with students from across schools coming together for a month of learning, creating, building and exploring. What started with introductions quickly turned into conversations, collaboration and a whole lot of ideas.

From startup games that got surprisingly intense to vision boards filled with aspirations, ambitions and future goals, the energy in the room was exactly what we hoped for: curious, fearless and ready to try something new.

The best part? Nobody was talking about marks, exams or textbooks. Instead, they were talking about things they want to build, skills they want to learn and the impact they want to create.

Day 1 reminded us that young minds don’t need all the answers, they just need the right environment to ask bigger questions.

And we’re only getting started. ⚡

A few years ago, this was largely an idea.

The belief that Punjab could become a place where founders don’t just start up, but scale up. Where a student with an idea could find mentors, where a startup could find investors and where colleges, incubators, industry and government could come together to support innovation.

That belief became IMPunjab.

Today, IMPunjab is more than a mission or an organisation. It is a growing network of founders, mentors, investors, institutions, incubators and ecosystem builders working towards a shared vision for Punjab.

This booklet captures a small part of that journey: the startups we’ve accelerated, the founders we’ve supported, the partnerships we’ve built and the ecosystem we’ve helped strengthen along the way.

Behind every page is a conversation, a collaboration, a risk taken, a founder who chose to build and a community that chose to back them.

In this video, our CEO & MD Mr. Somveer Anand takes you through the latest edition of the IMPunjab Booklet.

More than a booklet, it’s a reflection of what IMPunjab and its community are building today and a glimpse of the future we believe Punjab is capable of creating.

Always moving forward. Always building.

Chardi Kala.

Day 2 of IMP Acc Contact Session 2 and the diagnostic panels are underway.

One startup at a time, founders are sitting down with finance experts and mentors to dive deep into their numbers, from unit economics and cash flow to financial planning and growth assumptions.

These are the conversations where spreadsheets turn into decisions and decisions turn into strategy.

A lot of questions, a lot of insights and plenty of number-crunching happening today. 💰

More updates coming up. Stay tuned. 🚀

🚀 at the IMPunjab Accelerator Program – Contact Session 2, CA Sambhav Mehrotra, Startup Consultant and Angel Investor, is taking founders through the fundamentals of Financial Modelling and EBITDA to Cash.

Key takeaways so far:
• Financial models should help founders make decisions, not just raise funds
• Revenue and profitability tell different stories, both need to be understood
• EBITDA is important, but cash flow is what keeps a business running
• Strong financial planning helps founders prepare for growth and uncertainty
• Numbers become powerful when they are connected to business strategy

The session is also followed by a hands-on exercise, helping founders apply these concepts directly to their own startups.

Because scaling isn’t just about growing revenue, it’s about understanding where the cash goes. 📈
