At Lotus Rescue, compassion is not a program—it is a way of life.

Every month, our team visits ASHARI - PFA Kolkata, where our coordinators with deep love and commitment feed cows and dogs, offering them care, dignity, and nourishment. What began as an initiative has now become a beautiful ritual of kindness.

We are especially happy that our children from the Moulali Centre are now joining these visits. Seeing young hearts grow with empathy, learning to respect every living being, and understanding the bond between humans and animals is truly the most meaningful lesson of all.

This is how we build a generation rooted in kindness, responsibility, and love.

🌍 World Environment Day is every day for Lotus Rescue 🌿

On this World Environment Day, we celebrate—but at Lotus Rescue, our commitment to the environment goes far beyond just one day.

We have always believed that protecting nature is not an event, it is a responsibility we live every single day.

Over the years, we have worked with inspiring organizations like GFI, Green Curry, and the United Nations on cleaning drives, environmental awareness programs, and campaigns against plastic usage. These collaborations have strengthened our mission to build a cleaner, greener future.

Today, we are proud to share one of our most meaningful initiatives—The Lotus Matangi Project. Through this project, every time we receive donations, we plant and distribute fruit trees to farmers, especially in Nadia district and the Sundarbans. These trees are not just plants—they are long-term sources of food, income, and dignity for rural families.

Alongside this, we have also started a plastic collection and recycling drive, where we encourage communities to collect plastic waste and give it to us so it can be reused and recycled responsibly instead of polluting our land and rivers.

We appeal to everyone:
🌱 Please donate a fruit tree to someone in need
♻️ Please do not throw plastic—collect it and give it for recycling
🌍 Let’s make sustainability a way of life, not just a campaign
