Paper Wings crafts and endorses unique, upcycled, environment-friendly, and sustainable everyday-use products. Women from rural areas handcraft our wide range of home decor, table decor, and lifestyle products with all love and care. Paper Wings aims to generate sustainable livelihoods by upcycling waste into resources. Our parent organization, Action Center for Transformation (ACT), https://actfortransform.org/, is a non-government, non-profit registered organization located in Gurgaon. ACT was conceptualized by social development professionals in 2010. The idea, or the dream behind forming the institution was to bring a positive change by innovative ideas and by taking a well thought out initiatives by the community. ACT began functioning in September 2010 through a continuous brainstorming process, visits to rural communities, continuous dialogue with our village friends, and research on development issues. This initiative is taken to act with lots of creativity and newness, fight the challenges, and prepare leaders from the community. There is no assured support for ACT, but the ambition, conviction, and passion to bring a positive change in the existing scenario are tremendous.
