Most of us upgrade our devices without thinking twice. But very few pause to ask where does the old one go?

Yi Bhubaneswar chose to ask that question. And then act on it. Nearly three tonnes of e-waste was collected with members, students, schools and families stepping forward together. Not because it was mandatory, because it was necessary.

It was a reminder that sustainability is not someone else’s job.
It’s ours.

For years, water uncertainty shaped life in these villages. Farming struggled. Every dry spell brought stress and uncertainty.

Yi Madurai stepped in and revived three village ponds, restoring nearly three acres of water bodies. Groundwater is recharging, irrigation has improved, and farmers are seeing renewed stability.

This is not just restoration. It is rural life finding its rhythm again. And the work is only growing from here.

Some weeks are about numbers, and some are about momentum. This one had both.

Early morning treks turning into conversations, classrooms turning into debate floors, and campuses opening up to new opportunities through MoUs and leadership programs, there’s been movement in every direction.

What’s nice to see is how naturally it’s all coming together. People showing up, getting involved, and slowly building something that actually lasts.

This is what steady impact looks like!

A playground may look simple, but in a village, it can change everything.

In Parri Khurd, Yi Durg created a multipurpose sports court that now gives young people a place to play, train and simply gather. It is already becoming more than just a court. It is turning into a space that keeps youth engaged, builds discipline and gives them something positive to look forward to every evening.

Sometimes change does not start with something massive. It starts with creating the right space and watching a community make it their own.
