Fleece for the Freeze

When the winter chill sets in, it doesn't just make our students shiver. It makes it harder to sit through a lesson, to enjoy a game on the field, to read, to write, even to get through the little tasks of the day. Cold legs can quietly take away a child's focus and joy.

This Daan Utsav, you can change that.

Your small contribution can bring a big difference in the life of a child. Help our students at Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School stay warm with fleece pants this winter, so they can learn, play, and grow without the freeze.

Because a little warmth goes a long way.

Over the years, Lotus Petal Foundation and Feeding India have worked together to provide nutritious, healthy meals to our students. This support has given them so much more than food.

The difference has been remarkable. Our students have shown noticeable growth in their height and weight, and they are healthier, stronger, and more energetic. Their minds are sharper, their concentration has improved, and they now have a better understanding and a firmer grasp of their subjects. Classrooms are livelier, attendance is steadier, and confidence is visibly higher.

A well-fed child is a focused learner, a happier friend, and a more confident dreamer. Every meal has fueled curious minds, brighter classrooms, and stronger futures.

We are grateful for the kindness, the commitment, and the belief in the power of a simple meal to change lives.

Thank you, Feeding India, for being a part of our journey.

A Partnership That Nourishes

Feeding India continues its constant support with Lotus Petal Foundation, helping us provide healthy and nutritious meals to our students on a regular basis. This ongoing collaboration goes beyond just food, it ensures that our children come to school well-fed, energised, and ready to learn each day. Good nutrition plays a vital role in a child's ability to concentrate, participate, and grow, and this partnership has been instrumental in making that possible for our students.

It's a steady, reliable support system that works quietly in the background, yet makes a meaningful difference in the everyday lives of the children at Lotus Petal Foundation.

The Week That WAS.

This week at Lotus Petal Foundation was marked by celebration and achievement in equal measure.

Term 1 examinations began for the Senior Wing, with students undertaking Practicals, Viva Voce (Oral Assessments), and Internal Assessments.

Teachers' Day was celebrated with great warmth, students honoured every Teacher Changemaker with heartfelt performances, love, and appreciation, while the educators themselves enjoyed a fun-filled outing at the Trampoline Park.

Adding to the week's milestones, Mr. Kushal Chakravorty, Founder & Managing Trustee of Lotus Petal Foundation, delivered a keynote at ICSE 2026 on "Vulnerability to Agency: The Role of Women in Climate Change," reflecting the Foundation's continued commitment to turning vulnerability into voice for adolescent girls.

See you next week.

Under one roof, a hundred dreams are learning to bloom.

At Lotus Petal Sr. Sec. School, every child is more than a student, they are a seed of promise, nurtured with love that asks for nothing in return. Here, hunger doesn't stand between a child and their books; a warm, wholesome meal fills their bellies before knowledge fills their minds. Here, care isn't a policy, it's a presence, felt in every gentle word, every patient lesson, every hand held through the hard days.

We watch them grow, not just in height, but in hope. In confidence. In the quiet belief that their story can be different, that their circumstances don't define their ceiling.

Because every child deserves nourishment for the body, love for the heart, and education for the mind, the three roots from which a brighter future grows.

This isn't just a school. It's a promise kept, one child at a time.

Thank you Feeding India for your support and partnership.
