Diplomatic representatives, policymakers, trade specialists, and public health experts brought a global, policy-led lens to the MTaI Roundtable on FTAs.
The discussions reflected a broader shift: FTAs represent a very radical change in how mini-lateralism is replacing multi-lateralism, and this dialogue attempted to identify the best possible path forward in that shift. Building on this understanding, their insights underscored the need for trade frameworks that reduce regulatory friction, strengthen supply-chain resilience, support innovation, and widen access to quality healthcare.
