A Young Volunteer Who Chose to Make a Difference
At MY SCHOOL, we believe that the true measure of education lies not only in academic achievement but also in a willingness to serve others.
We were delighted to welcome Suvir Aylawadi, who generously volunteered his time during his visit from the United States to conduct an engaging introductory chess session for the children at MY SCHOOL, an initiative of Soni Memorial Trust.
For many of our students, it was their very first introduction to the fascinating game of chess. Through patience, enthusiasm and thoughtful guidance, Suvir encouraged them to explore strategic thinking, concentration, problem-solving and the joy of learning something new. Your thoughtful donation of education supply kits further enriched the learning experience of our children.
What impressed us most was not simply the game he taught, but his willingness to devote his time and energy to children from underserved communities. His initiative, spirit of service and positive influence left a lasting impression on both our students and our teachers.
As a token of our appreciation, MY SCHOOL was honoured to present Suvir with the MY SCHOOL Distinguished Volunteer Service Citation in recognition of his voluntary contribution to our children.
We congratulate Suvir and wish him every success in his educational journey. May he continue to use his talents, knowledge and compassion to make a positive difference wherever life takes him.
Thank you, Suvir, for reminding us that meaningful service often begins with a single hour, a willing heart and a desire to share.
