An unattended black backpack was found in Train No. 12262 HWH–CSMT Duronto Express on 18.08.2026, while working from Howrah.
The backpack was found containing the following articles:
One laptop
One mobile phone
One mobile charger
Other personal belongings
The backpack and its contents were secured and kept in safe custody for identification and verification. The passenger’s relative subsequently identified and claimed the belongings.
After proper verification, the backpack along with the laptop, mobile phone, charger and other belongings was handed over to the passenger’s relative at NGP station in the presence of RPF/NGP.
The articles were handed over safely after due identification and acknowledgement.

Shri Gobinda Rao Kalisetti, Sr. CCTC/SL/SBC, has shown commendable alertness, responsibility, and dedication to duty while working onboard Train No.- 12786 on 20-08-2026 from MYS to SBC.
During the journey, he found a 2-year-old boy and a trolley bag left behind in the train. He promptly secured them and handed them over to RPF/MYA for further necessary action. He also informed Commercial Control/SBC about the incident.
His prompt action and sense of responsibility are truly commendable and reflect the highest standards of alertness, humanity, and dedication to railway service.

रेलगाड़ी संख्या 17318 में कार्य करने के दौरान टिकट चेकिंग स्टाफ श्री शिवराम को कोच नंबर A1 में सीट नंबर 1-4 के बीच में एक बैग मिला जिसमें नक़द पैसे,पावर बैंक,पर्स,वोटर आईडी कार्ड और भी बहुत जरूरी सामान था जिसे टिकट चेकिंग स्टाफ ने रेलव सुरक्षा बल हुबली को सुपुर्द कर दिया ताकि यात्री को वह सामान सही सलामत मिल सकें।
