नीचे दी गई यह तस्वीर बारह साल के उन बहादुर स्काउट बालक हरिश्चन्द्र मेहरा की है। जिन्होंने देश के प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू की प्राणरक्षा की थी और जिनसे देश में गणतंत्र दिवस की परेड में हाथी पर सवार होने वाले 'राष्ट्रीय बाल वीरता पुरस्कार प्राप्त बहादुर बच्चों' की शानदार परम्परा की शुरुआत हुई थी।

विश्व के सबसे बड़े युवा आंदोलन वाली संस्था स्काउटिंग के लिए भला इससे बड़ा 'यूथ आइकन' और दूसरा कौन मिलता।

होना तो यह चाहिए था कि इस अंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्था द्वारा इस तस्वीर को भारत में अपना मानक बना लेना चाहिए था। मगर अफसोस कि ऐसा नहीं हुआ।

आज कैंसर जैसी बीमारी से जूझते हुए हरिश्चन्द्र मेहरा हस्पताल में जीवन और मृत्यु के बीच झूल रहे हैं।

On this occasion, Delhi State SGF also organised a Drawing Competition open to all age groups. A total of 50 participants showcased their talent. The top 16 participants were awarded for their outstanding drawings with a memento and certificate. Refreshments for all participants were provided. Under the leadership of Joint State Coordinator & Incharge of North East District Mr. Yaman Kumar, (MD- Finaceex Growth Service LLP)& entire team of Delhi state SGF were participated with great enthusiasm. The Prominent personalities were present to grace the occasion included: Ms. Madhu Kalia, Mrs. Preeti Anand, Mr. Rajnikant Shukla, Mr. Avtar Singh, Ms. Dipti Jain, Mr. Sumit Kumar, Mr. Mukesh Mandal, Mr. Rajeev Anand, Mr. Mohan, Mr. Sudarshan, Mr. Kirpal Singh, Mr. Bimlesh Singh, Mr. Rajesh Jadoon, Mr. Gagan, Mr. Saurav, Ms. Uma Vishnoi, and others.

A special thank you to Dr. Sunita Godara (Asian Marathon Champion) 🙏 for her continuous encouragement and sweet nature throughout the event. Your presence and support made us feel proud and motivated.
Participation of companies, youth, and cultural bodies showcased collective enthusiasm.
