Shaani Foundation Life and Work of Shaani Shaani is one of the most important writers of India. He wrote in Hindi and his novel "KALA JAL" is land mark in Indian litrature.

Shaani was the first writer to write about the plight of Indian Muslims. He has also written Novel like "SAANp AUR SEEDHI" which deals with consequences of urbanization of rural India. He has also written a travelogue titled "SHAAL VANOn KA DWEEP". It deals with life of tribals of Chattisgarh.
