Open House - The Transformative Power of AI and open Challenges

FFE hosted an engaging Open House on 5th August 2026 that brought together scholars, alumni, donors, mentors, and facilitators for an evening of meaningful connections and inspiration. The event highlighted an inspiring message from Founder Dr. Prabhu Goel, and insight into FFE’s journey moderated by Managing Trustee Dr. Sudha Kidao. Participants also gained insights into the career support offered by FFE, including placement assistance through LineupX, internships, mentorship opportunities, and upskilling programmes. FFE CEO Ram Kolavennu highlighted how these initiatives are designed to equip students with the skills and opportunities needed to successfully transition from campus to career.

The highlight of the webinar was the keynote address by Dr. Manish Gupta, Senior Director at Google DeepMind. He shared valuable insights into the future of AI, emerging career opportunities, and the skills needed to thrive in today’s technology-driven world. The session was highly interactive, with Dr. Gupta engaging with students and addressing their curiosity and questions, making it an insightful and inspiring experience for all participants.

The session concluded with the felicitation of our dedicated facilitators, who were presented with certificates in recognition of their invaluable contributions. Through their selfless service, dedication, and commitment, these outstanding facilitators continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our scholars and play a vital role in their journey towards success.

From 8–11 June 2026, the FFE family came together in Bengaluru for our Annual Retreat, a celebration of connection, creativity, well-being, and the shared purpose that unites us.
From sound healing and self-reflection sessions to a colorful Sip & Paint workshop, energetic dance sessions, the nostalgic Childhood Photo Challenge, and a fun-filled Games & Awards Night, every moment strengthened the bonds that make our organization special.
Beyond the activities, the retreat was an opportunity to pause, reconnect, appreciate one another, and celebrate the collective impact we create in the lives of thousands of deserving scholars across India.

On 2nd April 2026, we concluded the FFE–Danfoss Mentorship Program with a virtual closure session, celebrating a year of impact and growth.

This structured program connected 18 dedicated Danfoss mentors with FFE scholars for regular one-on-one interactions. Over the past year, mentors volunteered their time to build scholars’ employability skills, confidence, and career clarity.

A total of 18 mentors participated in the programme, strengthening scholars’ employability skills, confidence and career clarity.

Mentors did an amazing job and completed the program successfully, showcasing the dedication and enthusiasm of everyone involved. Mentors talking about mentees' curiosity and achievements were a highlight. The mentoring closure session celebrated the outcomes of this cycle and set the stage for 2026-27 mentoring cycle.

We’re deeply grateful to Danfoss mentors who invested in our scholars’ career readiness. Your guidance turns potential into progress.
