What a fantastic night with our Girl Guides!

We had lots of fun while planning the next few weeks, getting organised for our upcoming STEAM Week which is happening next week, and making plenty of preparations for our Christmas carol visit to the nursing home🎄🎶

We also had a very special moment with the enrolment of one of our Girl Guides. Such a proud Leader moment!

So much excitement, teamwork, friendship and fun ahead. Here's to making more wonderful memories together!

🏅WHAT A PROUD DAY FOR ONE OF OUR AMAZING GIRL GUIDES! 🏅

Today was such a special day for Niamh, and I honestly couldn't be prouder of this young lady!

I nominated Niamh for her bravery and for overcoming so much over the last few years. Today, she received a Wexford Garda Youth Award at Wexford Garda Station, surrounded by her family, her Girl Guide leader Lisa and Kathrina, who has also been part of Niamh's guiding journey for many years. Thank you Kathrina for coming along to share this special day with us.

Niamh also came so close to receiving a national award, missing out by such a tiny margin. But Niamh, you have already achieved so much, and you should be so proud of yourself! 🥹👏

As your leader, it has been amazing to see how much you have overcome in life. You continue to show bravery, determination and a willingness to give everything a go in Girl Guides. No matter what we ask of you, you always give it your best, and that is something very special.

A huge thank you to Wexford Garda Station for making today so memorable. Niamh and her family were treated with sandwiches etc but also treated to a full Garda station tour, including a look at the different areas of the station and even a van experience! 🚔 What a fantastic opportunity and a day to remember.

👏 A special shout-out to everyone who helped organise today's awards:

🚔 Chief Superintendent Derek Hughes, who presented the certificates.

🚔 Inspector Graham Rowley, who was also present.

🚔 David Fitzgerald, JLO, Wexford Garda District.

Thank you all for recognising and celebrating our young people and their achievements.

Niamh, from your Girl Guide family at Barntown CGI, we are so proud of you! Never forget how far you have come, how much you have overcome and how many people are cheering you on. Keep being you and keep showing that bravery! 🏅

Big congratulations again to Niamh and her family, and a massive thank you to everyone who made today possible.

⚠️ Brigini, Guides and Rangers!! ⚠️

Our All Sections Girl Guides Halloween Night was bursting with creativity, laughter, dancing and unforgettable Halloween fun! 👻

From decorating to dressing up, the girls completely wowed us with their imagination and teamwork. We had fabulous cowgirls 🤠, magical Harry Potter characters 🪄, Superwoman 🦸‍♀️, fierce cat girls 🐈‍⬛, brilliant nurses 🩺 witches 🧙🏻‍♀️, pyjama girls and so much more!!

Everyone looked incredible, and the costumes and creations were truly amazing! 🎨🎃 It was fantastic to see so much effort, creativity and enthusiasm go into the evening, with all the sections coming together to enjoy the celebrations.

The dance floor was full of energy too! 💃🎶 A huge well done to our amazing Ranger for taking charge of the music, and to one of our Guides for helping lead the dancing. You were both fantastic and kept the fun going all night! 🎶💃

A huge thank you to all the ladies who helped tonight. Your support definitely did not go unnoticed! 😴 It was wonderful to see our girls getting involved, working together, lending a hand and helping make the night so special for everyone 🎃👻

what a great night our Brigini had dressing up tonight! 🎭✨

We had so many amazing characters join us, including Harry Potter, Charlotte’s Web, Jessie from Toy Story, and many more! 📚🕷️🤠

The girls also got creative and designed some beautiful bookmarks to bring home with them. 📖💕

And yes… dare I say it… we even got a little start on the festive spirit! 🎄🎶 The girls began putting together a song list for a very special Christmas visit… but more on that at a later stage! 😉

What a fun-filled evening of creativity, imagination, laughter and lots of fabulous characters! ❤️✨

What a great night with our Guides tonight!

We changed things up a little tonight and the girls got involved in some lovely activities 🥰

The girls wrote some really lovely things about their leaders as part of their own version of self-esteem builders and we also did some peer self-esteem building. It was so lovely to see the girls sharing positive words and building each other up 👭

We also looked at the pros and cons of our recent activities, including our library trip, Garda station visit and had a chat with the girls about how they felt about their training weekend. We got some great feedback about the Patrol and Assistant Patrol Leader training too 💪👏

It's so important that the girls have their voices heard, can share their thoughts and know that what they say matters.

Another great night had by all, and a very proud leader moment watching our girls learn, grow, support each other and build their confidence along the way 👭 looking forward to next week already have a great week ladies 🚺
