Silver for Maisie after an outstanding performance against the hometown favourite and reigning European champion. At only 15 years old and boxing in the Under-17s, she more than held her own against one of Europe’s best. We feel a neutral venue may have produced a different result, but we’re immensely proud of her display. A special talent and a star in the making. 🥈🇮🇪⭐

Strong results today for Micheal and Maisie.

Micheal delivered a quality performance to be crowned Armagh/Down Champion — composed, sharp, and in control throughout.

Maisie stepped up in a high-level box-off against Irish champions, defeating an older Irish champion to secure her place in the Irish High Performance squad. She now has the opportunity to represent Ireland at the 4 Nations this June.

A serious standard from both boxers — well done to everyone involved.
