And so it begins, my last all-day Sunday rehearsal before a big show opening as Artistic Director of Monaghan Youth Theatre. To say I'm a bit emotional is quite the understatement, but I am so excited for my next chapter in life and I have no doubt MYT will continue to grow and prosper. Don't miss this very special production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Thursday 25th & Friday 26th @ 7pm nightly with a matinee performance on Friday morning. Such a fun-filled, fast-paced romp of hilarity for my last hurrah! It has been such an honour and a privilege to be part of so many young people's journey into the arts over the last 16 years.

DYNAMICS is an original play directed by 20 year old Aislingh Brady, a long time member of Monaghan Youth Theatre, turned youth leader. A two-act comedy born from a series of workshops where the actors, ages 16-18, worked together with Aislingh to develop their own characters and storylines, blended together with Aislingh’s own writing. The result is a lively, fast-paced story of a group of teenagers at a New Year’s Eve party, exploring their relationships with one another through the medium of a card game, ‘Dynamics’, a family tradition of “resident rich girl”, Kennedy Weaver. Fights, confessions, and friendships are just a fraction of what results from the cards, and viewers are sure to leave with a brand new sense of the word “game”.
