Solas Drop-In Centre Mental Health Drop-In Centre The Solas Drop-in Centre represents the social needs of mental health service users in the area.

The Solas Drop-in Centre, based in Monaghan, was established in 2001 as a direct response to the needs of people with mental health problems living the Monaghan area, who, on discharge from the mental health services, identified social exclusion as being one of the major barriers they have to face. Solas is a drop-in centre which is a user led, user run facility for those with mental health proble

🤠 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – MONAGHAN COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL 🎶

Monaghan Country Music Festival are looking for volunteers to help steward this year’s festival celebrations!

This is a great opportunity to be part of one of Monaghan’s biggest summer events and support a fantastic community atmosphere across the weekend.

📍 Volunteer duties may include:
• Helping to manage crowds
• Erecting and moving barriers
• Giving directions and assisting festival attendees

📅 Volunteers must be available to attend mandatory Steward Training on:
Monday, 22nd June
📍 Westenra Hotel, Monaghan

Volunteers should also be available to help on at least one evening during the festival:
📅 Thursday 9th – Sunday 12th July 2025

Thank you to the Transition Year Students from St. Louis Convent, St Macartans College and The Collegit School for inviting us, as guest speakers, to their school for a mental health awareness day held at St Loiuis Convent last week at behest of their amazing T.Y leader Adrian.
