Shout Out Youth Theatre’s adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s The Outsiders brings to life a powerful story of youth caught between innocence and experience. Set in 1960s Tulsa, it follows Ponyboy Curtis, a sensitive teenager navigating a divided world of working-class Greasers and wealthy Socs. After a deadly clash, Ponyboy and his friend Johnny go into hiding, triggering events that test loyalty, courage, and identity. Blending tenderness with conflict, the play explores friendship, family, and the need to belong

Directed by Jo Jordan & Tara Downes, set design by Miriam Slemon and Izzie Griffin, and lighting design by Joe Murphy
