πŸ’› Community support at its very best

A huge thank you to the residents of Bealnamulla, Athlone who recently presented a donation to Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.

The funds were raised by the local community, many of whom have experienced first-hand the care and support provided by hospice services during bereavements in recent years.

Each Christmas, the community comes together for a celebration in The Mill Bar and it was decided to use the occasion to raise funds for Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.

We are incredibly grateful for this generosity and support.

Pictured are Teresa O'Shea (The Mill Bar, B&B ), Martina Jennings (CEO, Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation), Eileen Lee and her grandson AJ representing the Bealnamulla community.

🌿 Save the Date - Clew Bay Garden Trail!

Mark your calendars for 27th and 28th June when the Clew Bay Garden Trail comes to the beautiful Rosmoney Lodge! 🌸

Thérèse and Paul Sullivan have spent 25 years transforming a flat wet field into a stunning one acre haven of trees, shrubs and a wildlife pond and for two days only, you can explore it for yourself.

The Clew Bay Garden Trail is a wonderful annual initiative run by dedicated volunteer gardeners across West Mayo, offering a rare glimpse into some of the most beautiful private gardens in the region.

All donations on the day go directly to Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation πŸ’›

🧡 Wrapped in kindness, one stitch at a time 🧡

🧢 Every blanket tells a story - one of care, connection, and community. We are deeply grateful to the Kiltimagh Women’s Group, whose gifted hands and generous hearts have wrapped Mayo Hospice in warmth and compassion .

These crocheted blankets are not just creations; they are gestures of love, comfort, and solidarity. Each one carries a message of support for our patients and their families.

To the extraordinary women behind these beautiful pieces, thank you for stitching kindness into every loop and line ❀️

We were delighted to attend the 40th anniversary celebrations last night of Ireland West Airport. Huge congratulations to Chairman Arthur French, Managing Director Joe Gilmore, Marketing Manager Donal Healy and their staff for such an incredible night, honouring all of those in the past responsible for the airport, and building foundations for the future. Well done to all at Midwest Radio and all the performers for a fantastic show.
We are incredibly grateful that The Sunflower Children's Hospice is one of the chosen charity partners for Ireland West Airport this year.
