Our Water Safety Team, along with Courtmacsherry Harbour RNLI and RNLI Crosshaven Lifeboat Station have rolled out water safety training to Primary and Secondary school students over the last week. With the current spell of good weather it shows the importance of knowing how to be safe in the water.
Kinsale RNLI is here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, whatever the weather!

The RNLI College extends their deepest condolences today to our fellow Search and Rescue colleagues from Marine Rescue New South Wales, Australia.

Six Marine Rescue NSW volunteers from Ballina answered the call to save lives at sea and assist a yacht, reported to be in difficulty.

Tragically, two volunteers lost their lives during the response.

Marine Rescue NSW Commissioner Todd Andrews said β€œThese two men were serving their local community and have made the ultimate sacrifice to help others”

Our thoughts are with their families, fellow crew members and the entire organisation.
