Thank you for celebrating 'Ilen 100' with us! 🎉

From 'Stories and anecdotes from Ireland to The Falklands and back 1926-2026' in St Matthew, Baltimore on Fri 21, to to our 'Open Ship' tours in Baltimore on Saturday 22 with the grand finale of Ilen, Saoirse and friends from Baltimore Wooden Boat Festival sailing to Cape Clear Island, , accompanied by a traditional fiddle player on the pier….it was the perfect centenary celebration. 💯❤️

Thank you to those who joined us from The Falklands Islands, the Isle of Man, the U.K., and visitors from Ireland and further afield, magic memories were made.

To our volunteers, donors, supporters, Board members, and the Sailing Into Wellness team, your time, dedication and generosity is very much appreciated. 👏

💫Thank you for sharing magic together over the past few weeks on our Day-Sailing programme. We have never got so many wonderful bear hugs and we're looking forward to receiving some more this week.

Kinsale Outdoor Education Centre and Cork Sports Partnership, the Wheelyboat and your funding support has allowed us to share the joy of being on the water with many more, thank you. 👏

💫We have enjoyed watching self-confidence blossom; from being anxious to board last Autumn to now being excited about heading out on the water and being happy to stay out. 🙌

Some lovely feedback too, with the favourite parts being:
1. Steering
2. Talking on the radio
3. Going fast
4. Everything! 🫶

See you later this week! 😎

Kerry Foundation Programmes June 2026 ⛵

For the past four weeks our mobile unit has been in Fenit delivering our programmes to Tralee based support organisations.

We have met amazing people in our Kerry groups. These participants have journeyed with us through storms and heat waves to engage and connect out on the water.

We are honoured to get to know people at different stages of their journey. Thanks for showing up for our programme and for yourselves. It wasn't always easy, but these guys found something in everyday afloat.

Thanks to all our supporters who make these programmes possible, especially North, East & West Kerry Development for partnering us with our support groups.

Groups:
☀️IPAS Tralee
🌅KCYS - Kerry Community Youth Service
🌬️Team Project - NEWKD
🌊HSE Children's Disability Network

Thanks to and Fenit Marina for welcoming us and offering help in your maritime community.

Thanks for coming out to meet us and the participants from CDN

Wherever you are coming from, wherever you are going, you are welcome here, let's do the work.
