😁Tá sceitimíní áthais orainn! Only one more sleep to our Coastal Connections Festival in .

Our festival is all about spreading the message of Clean Coasts and the work we do as a group. We will be welcoming a number of other environmental organisations too including Seal Rescue Ireland NPWS Wexford Wildfowl Reserve Local Authority Waters Programme Kilmore Quay Conservation Group, Coastwatch, and Wexford County Council.

All proceeds of the festival are going to a cause which is very close to our hearts - Meals on Wheels - Kilmore Branch.

We will be running a raffle tomorrow - Envelopes are €5 each and if you find a cloak room ticket inside you are a winner - if not there is a little token just to cheer you up!

We have lots of prizes to give away and you have a 1 in 10 chance of winning!!

✨Our Coastal Connections Festival is coming up on the 21st of June and while it is about promoting the work of Clean Coasts, we have decided to donate the proceeds of the festival to Meals on Wheels - Kilmore Branch.

🚗 Meals on Wheels is a worthy cause as it is a wrap around service that supports our senior citizens.

🤗Meals on Wheels is close to our hearts as some of our members are also volunteer drivers.
More volunteer drivers are always welcome.

💪🏻Last nights clean of 9 bags, 7 lobster pots and a large blue drum brings our total for the year to date to 4.5 tonnes.

♻️Of this 71 Lobster Pots and other metal weighing 936kg has been diverted from landfill.

♻️The group is committed to recycling, and Upcycling beach waste. Some upcycled creations will be on view at our upcoming Coastal Connections Festival on Sunday.

🔄We will also have a CLOTHES SWAP RAIL in the Stella Maris Centre where items can be exchanged or a donation for Meals on Wheels will also be accepted.
