Hi everyone,

We’re delighted to see so many people of all ages making use of the community walkway, and we want it to remain a safe and enjoyable space for all.

We would like to remind parents, guardians and anyone accompanying children to please ensure that children do not dig into the walkway or damage it in any other way. Any holes or damage to the surface create a potential trip or injury hazard for other people using the walkway.

A hole appeared in part of the walkway this afternoon, and will now need to be repaired. A cone has been placed over the area and we ask all users to take extra care and avoid this area. Our main concern is simply to avoid anyone being injured, which is the absolute last thing we want for any member of the community using the track.

We would really appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us to keep the walkway safe and in good condition for all to enjoy.

We are asking people to check their cctv cameras from 1am to 4am to see if they have anything on it from Killeigh to killurin and surrounding areas please, if you can provide any details please contact Garda David Dolan
