The Irish Taekwondo Academy was set up to bring Respect Honour and Integrity to the Lives of Children and Adults alike through the Martial Art of Taekwondo

Black Belt Assessment took place in our Killaloe centre Thursday evening.
Five students from the Killaloe centre demonstrated all aspects of their training including Sparring, Poomsae, Board Breaking and Self Defence.
The 2.5 hour assessment will prepare our students for the upcoming Black Belt Testing been held in Song Moo Kwan Ireland Headquarters Thurles on December 5th.

William the Marshal Cup 2026 Poomsae competition took place at the Templemore Arms Hotel Templemore, Co Tipperary today Saturday September 26th.
Well done to all students who took part in individual, Pairs and team Poomsae.
Irish Taekwondo Academy students did extremely well in all categories.
Keep up the great work everyone 🥋

Congratulations to John Kennedy who trains in our Nenagh and Killaloe centres receiving his official Kukkiwon 1st Dan Black Belt certificate this week from Master Damien Madden.
John trains hard alongside his wife and three kid's and it's fantastic to see parents getting involved and proving Taekwondo is a sport for all the family. Keep up the great work John.
