Best of luck to all the girls and management at the Gaynor cup next week. A huge achievement for all. 💪🎉

Following months of training and matches our five Newport AFC girls will represent the LDSL next week at the gaynor cup 2026.
Our own Sadbh will captain the Limerick squad in U.L and it will be Sadbh’s 3rd appearance at the tournament. Chloe is a vice captain and herself and Grace will be making their second appearance at the tournament. Tori and Faye will both make their first appearance.
It’s an unbelievable achievement for our club to have the five girls involved with the district squad.
We would also like to wish Jean, Kieran and Shay all the very best as they are part of the coaching set up.
We would like to wish all the squad and management team the very best of luck next week.
All support in U.L would be greatly appreciated as these girls are great ambassadors for our club🔴⚫️💪

Tomorrow evening in Rockvale Park we come together to remember a man who meant so much to Newport RFC Declan Ryan.

Declan was the heart and soul of our club, a man who always gave his time, support and friendship to everyone around him. His love for Newport RFC will never be forgotten.

The Declan Ryan Memorial Cup kicks off at 7:00pm tomorrow evening in Rockvale Park and promises to be a great evening filled with memories, laughter and rugby just the way Declan would have wanted it.

So let’s all make the effort to get down to Rockvale, support the occasion and celebrate the life of a true clubman and great friend.

Fun game. Great company. Lasting memories.
