We’ll never not be amazed by Gifford 🥰🥰
He had a deformity known as Kyphosis, a condition caused by poor nutrition, rapid growth rate and long backs - its severity had us considering his future well being as he grew and had more weight to support 😣 we knew he was gonna be big!
Our hopes were with careful management and diet he could strengthen the muscles around the spine & pull that humpy back of his into shape… it was high hopes but hooray for positive thinking and outdoor activities!! 🎉🎉
All Gifford wanted to do was root in the earth, all day everyday, and this action along with running and grazing strengthened, smoothed and built up that wonky back in no time. Hard to believe it’s the same pig!
He’s such a gentle soul, we’re grateful for the few wins these pigs get in this world. This is definitely one ❤️
