Kilcock Community First Responders

Kilcock Community First Responders Kilcock Community First Responders was established in August 2019. We assist the National Ambulance Service with certain 999/112 calls 24/7/365.

Community First Responders (CFRs) assist persons awaiting the arrival of an ambulance specifically in cases of cardiac arrest, chest pain, stroke and choking. If required, the CFR will commence resuscitation and use an AED to give the patient the best chance of survival.

The Respond Conference is organised by volunteers for volunteers. Respond2026 Conference brings Community First Responder volunteers together for advanced training, shared learning, networking and OHCA updates.
The Respond conference receives no state funding. We are looking for support to receive AIB Community Funding to keep Volunteer registration cost to a minimum.
We would really appreciate your vote.

โš ๏ธ Our services are under exceptional pressure today with significantly high call volumes and serious delays across all lines.

Please only call 999 or 112 in a life-threatening emergency.

We urge you to explore alternative care options before contacting us. Your cooperation is critical in ensuring emergency resources remain available for those who need them most.

Hot temperatures can significantly impact the life and performance of defibrillator batteries. Extreme temperatures, can affect the electrode pad gel, rendering the pads unusable. Extreme heat can also damage the internal components of a defibrillator, leading to malfunctions or complete failure.
Please check the storage condition of your AEDs, whether in your car, storage cabinet, dressing room or building. Check manufacturer's recommendations for more information.
