Relay For Life Laois is a 24 hour community based event that welcomes teams and people from all over County Laois to come together to help in fight back against cancer Relay for Life is a massive Community event that celebrates cancer survivors, remembers those we've lost to the disease and encourages the community to fight back, while at the same time raising vital funds for the Irish Cancer Soci

ety. We are currently looking for teams of up to 10 to 15 people to take part in this 24 hour event. We are also looking for anyone who has ever heard the words 'you've got cancer' to come along and take part as a survivor.

This is how funds raised in 2025 helped people in our local community. Relay For Life Laois is taking place this year in Emo Court and Parklands on Saturday 08th August 2026 to Sunday 09th August 2026. If you would like to get involved you can contact Caroline on 087 4499903 or Fran on 087 9161924.

Yesterday in the walled garden in the beautiful Emo Court and Parklands we planted our 4th Relay For Life Laois remembrance tree with the ashes from our candlebags. We also revealed that that our teams raised a whopping €41,987 for the Irish Cancer Society. These monies will go towards local services in Laois. Well done to everyone 🤍💜🧡

Relay For Life Laois will be planting our remembrance tree and doing our cheque presentation to the Irish Cancer Society on Sunday 11th January 2026 in Emo Court and Parklands at 11am. Everyone welcome to come along and see what our wonderful community raised in 2025 for local services provided by the Irish Cancer Society 🤍💜🧡
