Our next book club meet-up is happening in Dunboyne Castle Hotel on Thursday 18th May at 8pm, and we will be discussing All the Colours of the Dark by Chris Whittaker.

But most importantly?
You do not need to finish the book — or even read it at all — to come along.

Chat & Chapters is all about good conversation, meeting people, and taking a little pause from the chaos of everyday life ☕📖

New members are always so welcome, whether you’re a huge reader or just looking for a relaxed night out with lovely company.

Our annual uniform swap is coming up on June 23rd. This year it will be held in the Junior School hall from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

If you have any uniforms your child has outgrown or no longer needs, please send them in to either the junior or senior school any time between now & the 23rd.

After the school bell rings, take a moment for yourself.
After the Bell is a gentle monthly coffee meet-up for parents and carers in our school community — a chance to pause, connect, and ease into the day.

Parenting neurodivergent children can sometimes feel lonely — especially in the beginning, when you’re full of questions, worries, or “is it just me?” moments.

Sip & Support is simply a relaxed coffee morning for parents who get it.

Whether your child is diagnosed, awaiting assessment, showing traits, or you’re only starting to wonder if something might be going on… you are welcome here.

No pressure. No judgement. No expectations.

Just coffee, conversation, support, and people who understand the journey a little differently ☕✨

All Communion candidates and their families are invited back to Dunboyne Junior Primary School hall on Saturday, after the Communion ceremony for tea/coffee.

It’s always nice for the children and families to have a catch up before the rest of their celebrations!

Thank you to Darren O'Rourke & Fionnan Blake for meeting with us this morning to discuss the urgent need for progress on the new school building for Dunboyne Junior & Senior Primary Schools.

The delay to this project has gone on far too long. With significant population growth in Dunboyne & children currently learning in outdated facilities & prefabs, it is essential that the project is prioritised in the next round of capital funding.

We appreciate the continued support & look forward to working together to move this forward.

I was happy, along with Cllr. Fionnan Blake, to meet with the principals of Dunboyne Senior and Junior National Schools and representatives of the Parents’ Association this morning, in relation to the inordinate delay to their much-needed new school building. Fionnan and I will do everything we can to help push this project along. For a start, I have requested a Dáil debate on the subject and hope to have the heard in the coming weeks. The school community needs a firm commitment that these works will be prioritised in the next round of capital funding. Nothing less will do.

Supporting a child’s mental health and wellbeing can feel challenging at times, especially when children are dealing with the day-to-day stresses of school, friendships and growing up.

This 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 from 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 in conjunction with 𝗦𝘁. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸’𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 is designed to support parents of primary school children to encourage and promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
