Help Us Expand Gym Instructor Training in SCI Across Ireland 🏋️‍♀️🇮🇪

We are really excited to have secured funding to roll out our Gym Instructor Training Programme across Ireland during 2027 and we’d love to hear from you.

Do you know a gym, leisure centre, fitness facility or exercise instructor who would benefit from learning more about supporting people living with spinal cord injury? If so, please let us know. We would be happy to make contact, provide information about the programme and explore whether they would be interested in taking part. This training is provided free of charge to the gym so there is no cost to them.

This autumn, we will begin with introductory training events in Carlow on 6 November and at No Barriers Gym on 13 November. These sessions will be delivered by our Neuro Physiotherapy and Exercise Specialist team, alongside our Exercise Ambassadors, whose lived experience and practical knowledge add a unique and valuable perspective.

Interested? Contact [email protected] or one of the SII Services Team - we welcome your suggestions.
