The Dublin Mountains Destination and Experience Development Plan (DEDP) Community Consultations

The Dublin Mountains Destination and Experience Development Plan (DEDP) is a new five-year plan being developed by Fáilte Ireland in partnership with local stakeholders to support the sustainable development of tourism across the Dublin Mountains area. The plan will identify opportunities to enhance the visitor experience, support local communities and businesses, and protect the unique landscape, heritage, and character of the Dublin Mountains. It will help guide future tourism projects and priorities for the area over the next five years, building on existing local initiatives and plans.

Community input will play an important role in shaping the plan. We want to hear from residents, businesses, community groups, and local organisations about the opportunities, challenges and priorities they feel should be considered as part of the process.

The Community Consultations will take place on:
· Date: Thursday, 25th June
Time: 4pm – 8pm
Venue: Kilternan Parish Centre, The Gathering Grounds, Enniskerry Road, Kilternan

· Date: Wednesday, 8th July
Time: 4pm – 8pm
Venue: Wanderers GAA Ballyboden, Mount Venus Road
Wanderers GAA Ballyboden | Home

Pre-registration is kindly requested to help manage the consultation process and times. In order to allow to schedule the meetings across the two sessions, please click on the link below to indicate a day and time that would suit you. Grey Squirrel Feasibility Study

The public consultation element of the grey squirrel feasibility study is now underway. This 5-minute questionnaire which aims to assess public awareness of the impacts of grey squirrels, and potential support for grey squirrel control in Dublin and Wicklow can be accessed directly here:

We are particularly interested in hearing from people living in the Dublin-Wicklow region, but anyone can take part in the survey.
