To the people of Inchicore, we have had a message from a follower in regard to the following article, this is in relation to the former St Josephs Youth Club across from the Oblate Church, a devoleper has put in an application to build on this property, now presently one of the owners A Sligo-based property developer, Cathal O'Connor (40), was sentenced to two years in prison in May 2026 for a violent assault on three 13-year-old boys, so what is going to happen is anyones guess, but people need to understand this property was for the use of the people of Inchicore as other youth work, full article below.

But even if its appeal to An Coimisiún Pleanála is successful, one of its owners has other, bigger problems: Cathal O’Connor has been sentenced to prison.
