Blending Irish traditional roots with contemporary folk, jazz, and Americana, Laura Jo is one of Ireland’s most exciting emerging voices.
Originally from North Longford, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has already toured across more than 40 countries and 40 U.S. states, performing with acclaimed ensembles before launching her solo career in 2022. Since then, her warm, distinctive sound and heartfelt songwriting have been capturing audiences nationwide.
From standout festival appearances at Electric Picnic, Galway Folk Festival and Galway International Arts Festival to sharing stages with artists such as Sharon Shannon, Declan O’Rourke, Mike McGoldrick and JigJam, Laura Jo’s rise has been nothing short of remarkable.
A gifted performer on guitar, tenor banjo, mandolin, and piano, her live shows combine musical depth, emotional storytelling, and a voice that continues to turn heads across Ireland’s music scene.
