What a fantastic day for Donegal Bay Rowing Club at the Tullaghan Bay Regatta! 🚣♀️🚣♂️
Both our junior and senior crews took to the water for a brilliant day of racing and beach sprints — coming home with 2 first places, several 2nd places and a 3rd place! 🏆
Our juniors really stepped up, with some fantastic performances and plenty of surprises along the way. Everyone showed great teamwork, confidence and determination, both on and off the water.
But a regatta is about so much more than medals. From parents helping with the marquee, boat handling and rigging, to everyone supporting the crews throughout a busy day — it was a real team effort.
A huge thank you to all our coaches, especially Sharon for organising the crews, and to our committee for pulling everything together behind the scenes. A special thank you to loughros point rowing club for transporting, unloading and rigging the boats — and to everyone who helped make the day run so smoothly.
And finally, thank you to Emma and everyone at Tullaghan Rowing Club for such a warm welcome and a brilliantly organised regatta.
Well done to every member of the Donegal Bay team — you did us proud! 💙🚣♀️🚣♂️
