LEARN Programme – hosted by Faye Hayden, CAIM Empowers taking place this Friday 22nd May from 9:30am–1:30pm in the 2nd Cavan Scouts Den, Railway Road, Cavan, H12 TC93.

πŸ“… Friday 22nd May
πŸ•€ 9:30am–10:00am – Meet & Greet
πŸ“š 10:00am–1:00pm – LEARN Programme Session
πŸ’¬ 1:00pm–1:30pm – Q&A Session
πŸ“ 2nd Cavan Scouts Den, Railway Road, Cavan, H12 TC93

This session will focus on exploring key traits and presentations within Neurodivergent conditions, and how they can impact individuals, families and communities. It will also look at how we can all adapt what we do to create safer, more supportive spaces with positive outcomes for everyone β€” creating environments where Neurodivergent people truly belong, feel safe and can thrive.

The training aims to shift the focus from β€œwhat is wrong with the person” to β€œwhat is wrong for them”, and through an interactive session, parents will have the opportunity to explore ways to better respond to the needs of their Neurodivergent young person. It will also explore how families, schools and communities can work together to create happier and more productive lives for everyone.

Contact us today via WhatsApp/SMS to 086 3540899 - with your name and number to book your place β€” there is no cost to attend.

We’ve been enjoying a range of sensory activities this month, including soap making, fake snow, slime and exploring different textures, scents, and colours.

These activities encourage creativity, relaxation, social interaction, and confidence while providing a fun and engaging experience for everyone involved. It has been lovely to see so much participation, laughter, and enjoyment throughout the month 🫧✨

A busy day helping set up for the Cavan Arts Festival πŸŽ¨πŸ‘

Conor, Ryan and Christopher did a fantastic job volunteering, working as a team, and helping to get everything ready for the big event.

Volunteering opportunities like this help build connections, skills, and confidence while making a positive impact in the local community.

Well done everyone!
