What was interesting about the debate between our spokesperson Eilís Mulroy and Louise O'Reilly TD from Sinn Féin this morning on Newstalk was the reaction from the public after the piece. It's clear that there is little public appetite to remove the three day reflection period before an abortion.
It's perplexing as to why Sinn Féin and others are pushing the removal of a 72 hour wait before an irreversible and life-ending decision. 🤷🏻♀️
