💛 There’s something special about having a toy library that grows alongside your family! 🧸🌱

Aideen has been a member of Carrickmacross Toy Library since 2024, and one of the things she loves most is seeing how the toy section has grown and changed as her family has too 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

With such a wide variety of toys to choose from, there’s always something new to discover, explore and enjoy — without needing to buy every toy that catches their eye! ♻️🎲🧩

🌾🍂 What a wonderful harvest-themed play session at Siolta Chroi! 🥕🥔

We had huge numbers in attendance for a fantastic morning of outdoor nature play, discovery and seasonal fun, and the lovely weather made it even more special!

From harvest-themed crafts and storytelling to our farm tour and egg collecting, there was so much to enjoy. We had great fun digging for potatoes, pulling up carrots and sampling delicious seasonal berries. 🥕🍓

We also loved meeting the gorgeous Shetland ponies, Rosie & Dougal, as well as the two lovely alpacas we met during our visit. 🦙🐴

And of course, there was plenty of fun with the Toy Library games, giving everyone a chance to play, explore and enjoy some quality family time together. 🎲🧩

A huge thank you to Karen and the wonderful team at Siolta Chroi for such a warm welcome and for creating such a brilliant, hands-on experience for everyone. 💚

We’re delighted to welcome back Susan Mallon of Moo Music Monaghan to Carrickmacross Toy Library for a wonderful 4-week Baby Massage Course for parents and babies. 💕

Suitable for babies from 4–6 weeks upwards, baby massage can have lots of lovely benefits, including improved sleep and digestion, as well as encouraging deeper bonding and connection between you and your baby. ❤️

And of course, it’s also a chance to meet other parents who are navigating this crazy, magical and often very sleep-deprived parenting journey! ☕️👶💤

We’re delighted to welcome families back for our special annual harvest-themed play session at the beautiful Síolta Chroí, a regenerative farm on the outskirts of Carrickmacross on the Ballybay Road. 🌿

A Wonderful Afternoon of Musical Sensory Fun 🌊🎶

What a brilliant afternoon we had on Saturday at the Toy Library with our “By the Sea” Parent & Child Musical Sensory Sessions! 🐚💙

It was wonderful to see little ones and their parents getting involved, exploring music, sounds, stories and movement together. The toy library was absolutely abuzz with the loveliest sounds — little voices, laughter, music and plenty of happy discoveries!

A huge thank you to Brioni Gallagher of Síológa Early Years Music School, who was a fantastic facilitator. Brioni connected so naturally with the children, creating a relaxed, engaging and joyful space where everyone could join in at their own pace. It was lovely to watch the children become immersed in the experience. 💕

We’re delighted to have hosted such a special event and, from the smiles all around, it’s safe to say that the children and their parents loved it! We’ll definitely be doing similar workshops with Brioni in the near future.
