Know any young people involved in a Christian Union or school faith group?

We’re hosting an encouraging weekend retreat packed with fellowship, worship, practical teaching, and plenty of fun! It’s a brilliant opportunity for secondary students to connect with secondary-school Christian Unions from across the country, gain fresh ideas, and grow in their faith.

Alongside group sessions and prayer, they’ll enjoy activities like the Leap of Faith, team games, late-night bonfires, talent shows, and time to relax together. Through small group discussions, we aim to equip and inspire them for daily life back in their schools.

If you know a young person or student leader who would benefit from this weekend, please pass this on!

I’ve been around Scripture Union for a long time. I first volunteered on an Adventure Camp more than 20 years ago, did my internship in 2005 and joined the staff team in 2008. Over those years I’ve seen first hand the impact of SU’s family ministry and have even helped lead Family Week myself.

Somehow, though, I had never been on one of our Father & Son or Father & Daughter weekends.

Last weekend I finally changed that when I went to Ovoca with my ten year old daughter Amy. Having somehow missed the opportunity with my two boys, I’m extra grateful for having twin girls, because I get to go back next year with Leah!

I came away thinking that these weekends are one of the hidden gems of what Scripture Union does.

It was a pretty good Monday this week! Not just because of the great snacks, but because our team came together to pray, brainstorm, and plan for the year ahead.🪂

We are excited, already this month we've launched a new resource - and a brand new camp - Anchor!! 🔥🎬

Gonna be a good year, thanks for sticking with us! 💚

Building on the existing work of Scripture Union Ireland, we are excited to be launching a host of new camps and events over the next season.

Our heart remains the same: to help young people and families come to know Jesus through the Bible and prayer.

These new camps will provide an opportunity for children, teenagers, and families to hear stories from the Bible, gather together in community, and ask questions about faith.

You may also notice that some of our camps are taking on brand new names and faces! Keep an eye out for more information to see how you can join in.💚
