Meet Mochi — Hong Kong’s Giant Corgi! 🐶🇭🇰✨

Hong Kong just got a 10-metre-wide inflatable corgi and honestly, we’re here for it. Meet Mochi, the giant furry pup taking over the rooftop of in ! 😂🐕💛

Head up to the Mega Sky Rooftop Garden on Level 18 to see Mochi chilling on the lawn, surrounded by greenery, murals and an incredible 270° view across East Kowloon and Victoria Harbour.

And don’t just go for Mochi! The Mega Art Space project also features giant cats and dogs murals, including a 3D inflatable corgi tail, plus a pet-themed light show in the evening. 🌈💡

💬 Tip: Come around sunset, grab some photos with Mochi and stick around for the cat & dog light show from 7:30–9PM. The light show runs until 13 September, while Mochi stays until 4 October! 📸🌅

Skip The Peak Galleria & Get This View For Free! 🌆🇭🇰✨

Want those iconic Hong Kong skyline views without paying for a fancy observation deck? Head to ! Tucked along the Peak Circle Walk, this free viewpoint gives you incredible views over Victoria Harbour, Central and Kowloon — without spending a dollar on a ticket!

Take Bus 15 from Exchange Square or Minibus 1 from Hong Kong Station up to The Peak, then it’s around a 10-15-minute walk along the peaceful, green Lugard Road to reach the lookout.

If you are in a sporty mood, you can also walk up to the Victoria Park Transmitting Station (overseeing the city), which is fairly hidden, so you can enjoy the views in complete privacy! On the way up you will also pass by the quiet Victoria Peak Garden and the Victoria Peak Lookout Point overseeing the other side of the Peak (Pok Fu Lam and Lamma Island).

💬 Tip: If you arrive early and want to wait for golden hour to hit, walk the — an easy flat 3.5km loop around The Peak with a few more amazing viewpoints along the way. 🌳📸

Make a Trip To Area 51… In Central? 👽 🛸

at Galleryturns a small gallery next to PMQ into a quirky cardboard airport, complete with a security checkpoint, departure lounge, airport shop and even a suspicious restroom. 😂

The exhibition mixes aliens, conspiracy theories and plenty of humour, making it a fun little stop — the gallery is pretty small tho, so you won’t need too long to see it all.

💬 Tip: Make an afternoon of it and explore and as well, and grab a coffee at one of the cafés in the area. ☕✨

Looking for an chill beach day in Hong Kong? Head to Repulse Bay Beach , one of the city’s most popular beaches and a classic summer hangout. Just a short trip from Central, it’s perfect for swimming, chilling by the water, or escaping the city for a few hours.

The beach has changing rooms and showers, so you can easily freshen up after a swim. And there’s even a 7-Eleven nearby with a slush ice machine — basically everything you need to survive a hot HK beach day. 🥤🧊

While you’re there, don’t forget to check out the colourful Tin Hau Temple (Repulse Bay) , then wander around the beautiful and take in its unique architecture and sea views. Feeling hungry or thirsty? Head to The Pulse or one of the cafés and restaurants around The Arcade for a coffee, drink, lunch or dinner with a view. ☕🍹
