Yesterday a large crowd gathered at a very special event recognising the fallen since 1945. The very moving service especially focused on the adding Sergeant Wayne Rees to the the memorial.
The service was conducted by Rev Nigel Stones. with some very special and reflections from Colonel Nick Hile DL and Captain Stewart Landsberry RCMO The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeths' Own) A big thankyou from Worksop Branch RBL for everyone who came along to Remember Wayne. A very challenging time for so many who knew Wayne personally and to Bassetlaw District Council for organising and co-ordinating the service.
