The Society welcomes artists of all levels to create together. We meet every Monday and all levels are welcome.

01/11/2026

Monday 2nd November will have a Projected Life Model, this month it will be a Sketch Class format so there will be no image being sent out. Please bring sketch pads and pencils. The afternoon will be a image selected from the morning poses.

New members are always welcome to attend. We run from 10am to 3pm every Monday arrive and depart within these hours. Membership for the remainder of this year up to March27 will be at a reduced amount. Weekly fee is £3. All abilities welcome.

Our meeting on Monday 26th October will be a regular meeting between 10am and 3pm arrive and depart within these hours. New members always welcome, whatever level of experience. Please not this is not a "taught" group. We meet to socialise , draw and paint with like minded people. Help is always available if needed.

On Monday 19th October we will have local artist Ian Davenport to demonstrate Mixed Media Landscapes. The demonstration will run 2pm to 4pm with a refreshment break. Members £5 to include meeting if attended, Guests £6 ALL WELCOME

We will have our weekly meeting on Monday 12th October. Members will be able to join Rocky who will be holding a workshop to teach techniques used in Chinese painting.

New members are always welcome regardless of experience, although this is not a teacher led meeting help is always at hand for anyone who needs it.

We meet 10am to 3pm arrive and depart anytime within these hours. Meeting fee £2 Membership £25 per annum.

A number of our members are currently taking part in InkTober26. This is a yearly challenge to draw in ink every day for a month following a list of daily prompts. Why not have a look at their drawings so far, scroll at little further and review last year's too!

On Monday 5th October we will have a projected life model to sketch, draw or paint.
Everyone welcome at our meetings regardless of ability. Why not come along for a meeting to meet our members and see if you would like to join? The membership is £25 per annum and £3 per week attendance, refreshments included. We meet at the Worksop Cricket Club every Monday 10am to 3pm, arrive and depart anytime within these hours.

Our members are joining in the InkTober26 internet drawing challenge. We did this last year (the drawings are still available to view) Participants are required to draw everyday following daily prompts and to have their drawings posted. We choose to post on our page, there are many other postings on Instagram and other sites.
Please follow our members' attempts to follow the daily drawing prompts during October.
The drawings will be posted regularly throughout October. Starting Monday 5th.

Monday 24th and 31st August will be regular meetings at the Cricket Club. We meet 10am to 3pm each Monday arrive and depart anytime within these hours. Potential new members are invited to attend for a meeting without any committment to join.

Membership is £25 per annum with a weekly attendance fee of £3 which includes all refreshments.

On Monday 10th August we will have a regular meeting. New members are always welcome, and you may visit to meet with the group without any obligation to join.

We meet on Mondays at the Worksop Cricket Club, between 10am and 3pm arrive and depart anytime within these hours.

We have recently completed two exhibitions back to back. The first was at the Aurora in Worksop where we had paintings on display and several of our members were available for a chat while they painted in the foyer. A huge thank you to the Aurora for hosting this exhibition.
This was followed immediately by a two day art fair at Tickhill. This was an outdoor event and we were blessed with good weather and lots of visitors.
We hope to repeat theses events next year.

Our Summer Exhibition held at the Sparken Hill Academy was cancelled just for this year due to work being carried out at the school. We will be back there next year with an Exhibition of all new work by our members.

Next week our regular demonstration will be replaced by our Summer Social. This open to all members and is an enjoyable afternoon with food and entertainment.
