The biggest ever Easter Hunt across Bassetlaw

Worksop & Bassetlaw Businesses, We’d Love to Work With You 🐣

Hi everyone,

I’m Phill Osborne from The Driving Instructor (TDI). As a local family-run driving school, we’re passionate about supporting and working alongside other businesses in our area.

For Easter 2026, we’re organising our largest ever Easter Hunt across the whole of Bassetlaw, and we’re inviting local businesses to become official Hunt Locations.

The aim isn’t just a competition, it’s about:
• Encouraging people to visit and engage with local businesses
• Creating a positive, community-wide event
• Promoting participating businesses across our social media platforms
• Building something that grows year on year

We’re giving away £2,700 worth of prizes, including:
🥉 Chocolate hamper
🥈 £240 driving lesson voucher
🥇 FREE driving lessons until you pass (up to 60 hours – worth £2,400)

There’s no cost to take part. We provide the hunt materials, and we promote every participating business as part of the campaign.
If you’re interested in being involved, you can register your interest here:

We’re hoping to involve more businesses than ever this year and really make this a standout Bassetlaw event.

Happy to answer any questions in the comments or via message.

Let’s make Easter 2026 something great for the community 💛

Progress on the redevelopment of the Priory Centre will pick up pace this month as preparations to demolish part of the shopping centre begin.

Visitors to Worksop Town Centre will start to see these changes from Monday 9th February as the Council’s main contractor G. F. Tomlinson begin to set up safety hoardings around part of the building and in the main car park.

This is an important safety element of the development that will protect the public, businesses and motorists from work connected to the demolition and building of the new sections of the Priory Centre.

The demolition phase will begin with internal sections of the building being stripped from the middle of February, before the structure of a section of the building is safely removed from 2nd March. This includes the units that are located to the right as you enter the Priory Centre from Bridge Place, from the former Café Neo unit to the former Select unit.

Once this part of the project has been completed, construction is expected to start in May 2026.

Stores that are currently part of the Priory Centre will be open as normal throughout the development and pedestrians will still be able to walk through the shopping centre, connecting the car park with Bridge Place and Ryton Street.
