MEET THE TEAM: CHRISTIAN

Christian is a father to two daughters, a role that guides his life

In his early years, he found himself on a path that didn't serve him or those around him. At 30, a trip to Thailand gave him the space to reflect and reset. He came back with a new mindset and soon opened a gym, working with people from all walks of life

As he grew, Christian leaned into both physical and spiritual disciplines, church, hiking, and time in nature, which helped transform his life. Through this journey, he connected with the Mandem at a conscious festival, and ended up travelling to Manchester for talking circles and hikes

On Christmas Day 2023, he travelled to Manchester to meet up with the brothers and Jamie Dennis invited him and Jamie Lewis to head up Mandem Meetup Wolves. Around the same time, a pastor spoke over his life, affirming that God would use him to support men and young people on their journey. Everything aligned

Today, Christian is committed to that calling, helping others grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit, just as he's been guided to do himself

No need to book just show up at the pick up point:
1. Our Lady’s and St Chad’s, WV10 8BL @ 10:00am
2. Aldersley High School, WV8 1RT @ 10:15am

It’ll be warm so bring sun protection and extra water, a little packed lunch and suitable footwear. If you need any of this stuff DM us and we can sort it for you.

This Men's Health Week, we're shining a light on two sessions that have genuinely changed lives:

Big Hikes — Fresh air, honest conversations, and the kind of clarity you only get when you're walking side by side. No pressure, just presence

Football Sessions — More than just a kickabout. It's where lads come to play, laugh, and leave feeling lighter than when they arrived

Both running in Manchester and Wolverhampton. Both free. Both open to any man who needs it

MEET THE TEAM: MIKE

Mike is a facilitator at Mandem Meetup and the founder and manager of Mandem FC, our first ever charity football team

He’s been part of Mandem Meetup for around 5 years, and in that time, the community has played a huge role in helping him grow into a leader and reach his full potential

Mike is nearly two years sober, and he credits the support of Mandem Meetup as a big part of that journey

Now, his focus is on empowering other men around him, helping them find confidence, connection, and purpose

His dream is to see Mandem in every city across the UK, because he believes purpose is one of the most powerful ways to support men’s mental health

Big respect to Mike for everything he does for the Mandem community
