20 families signed up to receive Food Packs which will feed 48 people (adults & children). At the Foodbank top 3 reasons for foodbank referrals was no food, and cost of food / energy.

At Secret Angels, our volunteers come from all walks of life, bringing different experiences, skills, and passions. What unites them is a shared commitment to helping others and making a positive difference in our community.

This week, we're shining a light on the people behind the volunteering – their journeys, motivations, and the impact they make every day.

Whether it's supporting families through our Food Bank, helping people get online, delivering a friendly conversation through our Befriending Service, or bringing smiles through Java Joy, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

Today marks the start of Volunteers’ Week 2026 and at Secret Angels we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to every volunteer who gives their time, energy and kindness to support our community 💜🧡

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of Secret Angels. Whether helping at the food bank, supporting digital inclusion sessions, befriending vulnerable residents, helping with collections, fundraising or simply offering a listening ear — every act of kindness matters.

From 1–7 June 2026, we will proudly be celebrating Volunteers’ Week — a national celebration recognising the incredible people who give their time to help others ❤️

At Secret Angels, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. From supporting families through our food bank, helping with community events, befriending services, digital inclusion, fundraising and outreach — their kindness and dedication changes lives every single day.

We are also incredibly proud to be recognised with The King’s Award for Voluntary Service, highlighting the amazing impact our volunteers make within the Wolverhampton community 👑
