We are a registered charity accepting donations of non-perishable dry and tinned food to provide emergency food parcels and occasionally toiletries to people in the West Oxfordshire district who are experiencing an unexpected crisis situation. We rely on the kind donations of non-perishable dry and tinned food from the public to create food parcels for single individuals, couples, and families in the West Oxfordshire area. Public donations are accepted Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 at reception in Cottsway, Witney, OX28 4YG, the donation point inside Waitrose in Woolgate Centre, Witney or the Witney Town Hall in the town centre.

Did you know that local egg producer, Mayfield Eggs, has not only been hailed in The Telegraph as producing prized eggs for restaurants, but also supports Witney Foodbank? They provide us with fresh eggs every week on a Friday, enabling us to add eggs to our parcels which are hugely appreciated by the individuals and families we support.

A big thank you to everyone at Stonesfield Primary School for welcoming us and asking such excellent questions when we visited to talk about the foodbank for Harvest Week. Last year, the school donated an impressive 38.2 kg of food, and Mrs Hill told us that you're hoping to beat that record this year! Good luck, and thank you for your amazing generosity.

Our Chair, Maria Grindley, has been visiting local primary schools, where children have been busy collecting food donations for the foodbank as part of their Harvest celebrations. Yesterday, Maria visited Madley Brook Primary School, where she was met by some very enthusiastic pupils who were keen to answer her questions! 👏

Last week was our final food drive for this year at Sainsbury's. It was a super team effort including staff from Howdens Insurance, who provided a team all day (thanks to the lovely Michelle for her efforts). Thanks also to Francis George Solicitors for their team's help working alongside our own Foodbank volunteers.
A whopping 770.65kg in food was donated as well as £236.53 in donations. Thank you to Sainsburys staff as always and to those of you who stopped to say hi and find out more about our work.
