🌸 Congratulations to our award winners from our last Witney Speakers Toastmasters meeting! 🌸
A huge well done to:
🏆 Matt – voted Best Evaluator for his insightful and encouraging evaluation.
🎤 Wadzanai – winner of the coveted Best Speaker award for an outstanding speech.
⭐ Marcus – a first-time visitor who delighted us all with an excellent contribution to the Table Topics session.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it another enjoyable and inspiring evening.

🤝 Friends, speeches, and a new spot! 🤝

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow’s Witney Speakers meeting has the theme Friendship 💛 — and we’ll be gathering in a different venue this time.

📍 The Fleece, Church Green, Witney
🕖 7:00pm for a 7:15pm start

We’re really looking forward to welcoming our members and guests to this warm, convivial venue for an evening of great company and inspiring speaking. Bring a friend… or make a new one! 😄

Santa Claus is coming to town! 🎅🏻

Here are the dates for this year's Witney Round Table and Ladies Circle Santa Sleigh nights!

Up from 9 to 15 nights this year! Thanks Mr Chairman of the Witney Round Table for arranging this with Santa! 🍻

All nights will run from 6:30pm - 8pm.

Funds raised each night will be donated to the local community groups who will be helping us from the 1st to the 19th.

More info on the routes will be shared soon.

If we're not coming down your lane then keep an eye out for updates on the Witney Lions Club page for their static events with Santa in town.

Some recent meetings of Witney Speakers Toastmasters!

Meeting 147 - Treason
Had "govern" as the word of the day

🏆 Chris had Best Table Topic,
🎤 Maya and Luke shared Best Speaker, and
⭐ Libby & Nikki earned Best Evaluators

Meeting 148 – Hindsight
Our word of the day was "perspective," setting the tone for a thoughtful evening.
🏆 Luke delivered an excellent speech to win Best Speaker. while
🏅 Gavin took Best Table Topic and Best Evaluation

Meeting 149 – Winter Wonderland
With "ethereal" as our word of the day, the room was full of creativity and festive spirit.
🏆 Vanessa won Best Table Topic,
🎤 Merlin impressed with his icebreaker to win Best Speaker, and
⭐ Brendan earned Best Evaluation.
